Garrett Armfield (6-2) discusses his bantamweight fight against Sharky Slyter (6-3) at Shamrock FC 332 on Oct. 9. Garrett also talks about not pursuing an opportunity on Dana White’s Contender Series, training at Sanford MMA and how he see’s the fight unfolding.
“I’m ready for whatever he has coming at me. I’m sure his goal is going to be taking me to the ground. It doesn’t look like he likes to get hit. I hit hard from what I”ve heard from previous opponents. He better keep his chin down or look for a takedown. If he wants to go to ground, cool let’s do it. I’m ready for wherever he wants to take it.”
