Shamrock FC Announces Return With Two Cards With Fans
Shamrock FC is returning to action. Their last card was March 1st and then the pandemic struck. Now, the promotion says they not only have two events, but they also will have fans in attendance. The kicker: the cards are back to back. Both cards will take place at Ameristar in St. Charles, Missouri.
Shamrock kicks off the double header on September 11th. The main event was announced to be Dustin Lampros and Paris Padilla squaring off. Lampros has started off his career at 5-0 and Padilla sits at 4-1.
The second event, the second card takes place the next day on September 12th. Erion Zekthi and Dillon Tolbert are set to face off in the main event of that fight. Zekthi has a pro record of 4-1 and Tolbert sits at 6-5.
Zekthi and Tolbert were on the canceled Shamrock 229 card that was canceled due to the pandemic. The promotion made good on a promise to get those two the fight they both wanted.
Shamrock Back in Action
Back in March, we spoke with the president of Shamrock FC, Jesse Finney. He told My MMA News that he believed that the promotion, while had been around for a while, was just starting to hit its stride. Then the pandemic came through and canceled Shamrock 329.
Now, having canceled their events for months, Shamrock aims to get the ball rolling again and start putting on shows with some of the best upcoming talent.
Shamrock has been around since 1998 and has hosted some of the best young kickboxing and MMA prospects. Having put on over 300 events, They have been a mainstay of the martial arts community for a long time.
The promotion says they intend to announce more for their two cards in the coming days.
