Shealor Ladd (1-0 AM) recaps his TKO victory over Eli Gawthorp (2-1 AM) at MTF 23: Logan on March 27. Shealor also talks about going through several opponents and having to fight at heavyweight at the last minute, overcoming adversity in the fight, and his sister (UFC bantamweight Aspen Ladd) reaction to the fight.
“(She said) it’s a lot scarier to watch people fight, than to fight. I was told that she looked visibly ill watching that first round. As long as we’re fighting at the same time she’ll be there at a lot of them.” Shealor also spoke about the feeling of winning his first amateur fight. “It was one of the best feelings ever and followed by how do I do my signature on this paperwork? I was a little out of it for quite some time. I finally started being normalized right around the team dinner.”
