Titan FC bantamweight Brett Johns starts crowdfunder to battle injuries
Crowdfunding is everywhere. It has become the norm in terms of raising monetary contributions from a large number of people, typically via the internet.
“The Pikey” Brett Johns (12-0) is 23-years old; very young in the mixed martial arts realm, but is currently in need of several surgeries that if not treated could keep him from achieving greatness and fighting for the UFC. So, Johns did what everyone else has been doing. He turned to the internet for help.
Johns currently fights for Titan FC and told MyMMANews.com “My shoulder gets dislocated about three times a month so that will need surgery, and also my knees are pretty beaten; they could do with a look as well. I also have other smaller injuries.”
“Basically in the U.K. you can pay for private healthcare which is needed for a full time fighter,” the Pikey said.

“Hi I’m Brett Johns
I am a mixed marital artist from Wales in the UK! I fight at a professional level with a record of 12 wins and 0 losses! I am also a two time world champion in the sport! I now fight in the US with a very good MMA promotion called TITAN FC! I am the number 1 contender in the Bantamweight division and a former champion!
I am in need of help at the moment. I have currently picked up two bad injuries (my knee and shoulder) and I need the funding to help go into private healthcare to fix my injuries so I can get back to what I love doing 🙂
I have loads of support from my family, friends, training partners and my girlfriend! and i’m very grateful for this but I need more help and I just want to thank everyone who has been there for me and who is going to be there for me also!
Thank you!!”
