Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou – Preview and Prediction

Francis Ngannou has a big pay day in front of him as he will be boxing Tyson Fury this Saturday night.

While Ngannou will absolutely be laughing all the way to the bank, the question is does he have a chance to pull off the biggest upset in boxing history?

Here’s a preview and prediction of the boxing match and the preview and prediction can also be seen in the video below.

Breakdown

Fury is considered to be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Think of all the great heavyweights in boxing history. Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali,Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.

You can make a case that Fury is better than all of them.

Fury is unbeaten, big, long and strong. Not to mention he’s not retired or over-the-hill. He’s a reigning champion and has looked better than ever in the last few years.

Ngannou came to the United States to try and be a boxer. Instead he became a MMA star.

After a quick rise and being known for having the touch of death in his hands, Ngannou would lose his first UFC title fight to Stipe Miocic. However he bounced back strong from the loss as he’d go on to eventually beat Miocic and becoming the UFC heavyweight champion.

The UFC and Ngannou had a bit of a nasty divorce upon the return of Jon Jones, but Ngannou signed a big contract with the PFL and he’ll be competing with the promotion at some point next year.

Tale of the Tape

Ngannou isn’t usually the small guy, but he will be here. Fury is huge standing at six feet nine inches tall and recently he’s been tipping the scale around 275 pounds.

Prediction

Let’s not over look this one.

Fury may very well be in his prime right now. If he’s not, we’ll then he’s still leaps and bounds better than all the other heavyweight boxers in the world.

Do you want to say Ngannou has a punchers chance? Sure that’s fine. Is that a good argument to say he can win? Absolutely not.

Maybe Fury takes it easy early and just jabs and keeps some distance. Eventually he’ll start throwing punches in bunches and putting the foot on the gas. That’s when Ngannou gets in trouble.

Prediction: Tyson Fury defeats Francis Ngannou by knockout.
