UFC 248 Results – Adesanya vs. Romero
UFC 248 takes place on Saturday, March 7, from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the main event, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya puts his title on the line against former title contender Yoel Romero. Paulo Costa recently defeated Romero, but since Costa cannot compete due to an injury, Romero has received the opportunity which has sparked debate among many.
In the night’s co-main event spot, former UFC strawweight title holder Joanna Jedrzejczyk will look to earn championship gold once again as she meets current champion Weili Zhang at 115-pounds.

The fight card kicks off with a preliminary card stream on ESPN+ beginning at 6:30 p.m. The preliminary bouts continue on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, with the five-fight main card airing live on ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
Yesterday Emily Whitmire missed weight for her strawweight bout against Polyana Viana. Whitmire was fined 20 percent of her purse. Today she would be taken to a nearby hospital emergency room and the fight removed from the card. More to follow on that story.
Big knockout to kick things off tonight in Las Vegas as a left hook from Danaa Batgerel floored Guido Cannetti to open up the show.
