The study shows that UFC’s Amanda Lemos is the most stressful UFC fighter to bet on overall. Alexa Grasso, and Ketlen Vieira rank as two & three due to them absorbing more strikes per minute and having weaker takedown defense; these factors have contributed to their high stress score.

Julianna Peña and Manon Fiorot are also amongst fighters with high stress scores, due to their high strike absorption and low submission attempts.

In comparison, fighters like Jon Jones and Islam Makhachev, have high win rates and absorb fewer strikes, indicating better control over the fight, ultimately contributing to their lower stress scores for online gamblers.

Ilia Topuria rated the least stressful UFC fighter to bet on for outright winner

Analyzing the win rate for the top 30 pound for pound UFC fighters, the results show that Ilia Topuria reigns as the least stressful fighter to bet on for outright wins. Tatiana Suarez is also a great choice with a 100%-win rate also, whilst Jon Jones rounds up the top 3 least stressful fighters to bet on for outright winner with a win rate of 96%.

There are fighters you will also want to stay away from when betting on outright winners, especially the fighters with low win rates and high stress scores.

Raquel Pennington wouldn’t be the best choice, with a win rate of 64%, this scores her an outright win stress score of 30. Jessica Andrade’s 68%-win rate gives her a stress score of 29, also making her a bad choice, and Rose Namajunas with a 77%-win rate giving her a stress score of 28.

Virna Jandiroba rated the most stressful UFC fighter to bet on for TKO/KO’s

When looking to bet on TKO/KO as a method of victory, the study measured ranking factors for each UFC fighter’s striking accuracy, strikes landed and takedown accuracy. From this, AskGamblers were able to find the most and least stressful to bet on for this method of betting.

The results show that both Valentina Schevchenko and Alex Pereira would be a great betting choice when it comes to this, with Schevchenko scoring 27 on the accumulated stress scores, and Pereira scoring 28. Alternatively, Virna Jandiroba and Erin Blanchfield should be steered clear from, scoring highest with stress scores of 84 and 71 respectively.

Yan Xiaonan rated the most stressful UFC fighter to bet on for submissions

Betting on submission as a method of victory takes into account how many submission attempts each fighter has per 15 mins. Charles Olvieria would be the best choice to bet on when choosing submission, with 2.81 submission attempts per 15 minutes giving him the lowest stress score for submissions. He is closely followed by Kayla Harrsion with 2.21 and Virna Jandiroba with 1.66.

Yan Xiaonan ranks as the most stressful fighter for submissions, as her 0 submission attempts gives her a stress score of 30. Israel Adesanya comes in at second most stressful with a score of 29 from his 0.14 submission attempts, and Belal Muhammad in third with his 0.16 attempts ranking him with a 28-stress score.

Bojan Jovanovic, Sports Content Editor at AskGamblers comments on the study below;

“Understanding the performance stats behind each UFC fighter is crucial for making smart and informed decisions, especially in very stressful situations. By taking into account all of the different stats that play a major part in betting decision making, we have been able to rank which fighters would leave bettors pulling their hairs and biting nails when putting their money on them.

Amanda Lemos ranks as the most stressful UFC fighter for bettors. This is a result of her high strike absorption rate (3.87 per minute) and below-average takedown defense (62%) make her fights very unpredictable and gives her an overall stress score of 155/210.

Alternatively, Islam Makhachev is the least stressful when it comes to betting with a score of 64, however paired with low stake odds. So, if you’re looking to bet on UFC 306 or looking ahead to future events, weighing these stress scores against the odds could be key to getting the most out of your betting strategy.

In high-risk, high-reward scenarios, Julianna Peña and Alexa Grasso could give you opportunities for big payouts, though they may leave you biting your nails until the final bell!”
