UFC Auckland results – Paul Felder vs. Dan Hooker
UFC on ESPN+ 26, also known as UFC Auckland, takes place Saturday (Sunday locally) at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, and streams on ESPN+.
In the main event, Paul Felder (17-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) takes on New Zealand’s Dan Hooker (19-8 MMA, 9-4 UFC) in a lightweight showdown.
Yesterday, Maki Pitolo was deemed unable to compete after coming down with an illness. His opponent Takashi Sato weighed in at 170 pounds for the fight but unfortunately the bout was ultimately canceled and removed from the card.
What a way to open up the card as Priscila Cachoeira finished Shana Dobson with an uppercut just 40 seconds into the fight.

With a win over Loma Lookboonmee, Angela “Overkill” Hill set a new UFC record for most fights inside an 11-month span. She surpasses Neil Magny who previously held the record.
Kai Kara-France put on a spectacular performance outpointing Tyson Nam en route to a unanimous decision win, while Song Kenan made quick work of Callan Potter with a first round knockout.
Jake Matthews won over all three judges as he picked up a unanimous decision win over Emil Meek; and Jalin Turner looked superb with a TKO finish of Joshua Culibao in the second frame.
In the main preliminary bout, Zubaira Tukhugov did enough for referee Marc Goddard to call an end to his fight against Kevin Aguilar at 3:21 in the first round.
Jim Crute picked up another submission finished inside the octagon, forcing the tap from Michal Oleksiejczuk by way of kimura.
Former UFC strawweight title contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz saw better days as she was outclassed in all rounds against rising star Yan Xiaonan.
What an incredible five-round main event between Dan Hooker and Paul Felder. Absolute battle between these two lightweights, but unfortunately for mixed martial arts fans, this may have been the last time we have seen Felder inside the octagon. After dropping a close split decision, Felder announced his possible retirement. Look for Hooker to advance in the rankings come Tuesday.
