UFC Fight Night 136 weigh-in results from Russia, two miss weight
The UFC is in Russia for the very first time with UFC Fight Night 136. Earlier today, the early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Moscow. There are no ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans ahead of the event, which takes place Saturday at Olympic Stadium in Moscow. The event will stream on UFC Fight Pass.
Two UFC fighters missed weight for tomorrow night’s bouts. Jin Soon Son came in at 137 pounds for his bantamweight bout, and Mairbek Taisumov came in at 161 pounds for a scheduled lightweight fight with a maximum of 156 pounds. Per UFC officials, Son surrendered 20 percent of his purse to Yan, while Taisumov paid 40 percent of his purse to Green. Both fights will go on as scheduled.
The fight card is headlined by heavyweights Mark Hunt and Aleksei Oleinik.
