UFC Fight Night 62 medical suspensions announced
UFC Fight Night 62 took place on March 21, 2015 at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event aired on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
The main event was Ryan LaFlare vs. Demian Maia in which Maia outpointed LaFlare and the co-main event featured Josh Koscheck losing to Erick Silva in which what might have been Koscheck’s final UFC fight.
More than 7,000 fans packed into the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho to watch the fighters. Four bonuses were given out to four fights and they each received fifty grand for their efforts.

- Jorge Oliveira: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
- Cain Carrizosa: Suspended for 180 days pending clearance of left knee
- Kevin Souza: Suspended for 180 days pending clearance of nose with x-ray exam
- Katsunori Kikuno: Suspended for 45 days, no contact for 30 days
- Leandro Silva: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Drew Dober: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
- Francisco Trinaldo: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
- Akbarbh Arreola: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
- Godofredo Pepey: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Andre Fili: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Gilbert Burns: Suspended for 180 days pending clearance of face through MRI exam
- Alex Oliveira: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
- Amanda Nunes: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Shayna Baszler: Suspended for 180 days pending clearance of left knee
- Leonardo Santos: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Tony Martin: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Erick Silva: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Josh Koscheck: Suspended for 14 days, no contact for seven days
- Demian Maia: Suspended for 30 days, no contact for 21 days
