UFC Fight Night 67 – Condit vs Alves – Weigh-in results
UFC Fight Night 67 takes place at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil tomorrow. Weigh-ins for the event headlined by welterweights Carlos Condit and Thiago Alves were held today at 3 p.m. EST.
“The Natural Born Killer,” Condit was both the former WEC and former interim UFC welterweight champion before sustaining an injury that sidelined him for more than a year. Condit suffered a knee injury in his bout with Tyron Woodley at UFC 171 back in March of 2014.
The Brazilian Muay Thai machine, Alves, brings a mixture of devastating power, speed and agility that he blends with a unique brand of killer instinct to finish his opposition. The American Top Team product challenged then champion Georges St. Pierre for the welterweight title at UFC 100, losing via unanimous decision.
Since that pivotal fight in 2009 “Pitbull” has gone 4-3, most recently recording wins over Seth Baczynski and Jordan Mein.
