UFC on FOX 27 weigh-in results – Souza vs Brunson 2
Early weigh-ins for tomorrow night’s UFC on FOX 27 fight card will begin at 11 a.m. today in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ceremonial weigh-ins will be held tonight at 6 p.m. EST from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte where the fights will also be held.
Saturday night’s fight card will feature two fights on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 4 p.m. ET. Six additional preliminary-card bouts air live on FOX Sports 1 at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the four-fight main card at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
The main event is a rematch between middleweight contenders Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Derek Brunson. The two competed against one another under the Strikeforce banner in August 2012. Souza knocked Brunson out in just 41 seconds. He will look to rebound from a second-round TKO loss to current champion Robert Whittaker in his last outing. Brunson is coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Lyoto Machida and Dan Kelly.
