UFC Rankings Update: Amanda Nunes soars in pound-for-pound list, Volkanovksi into top-five
The UFC has updated their rankings again after UFC 232 which saw two new champions be crowned. Jon Jones defeated Alexander Gustafsson to win the light heavyweight belt. Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Amanda Nunes shocked the world and knocked out Cris Cyborg in just 51 seconds to become the women’s featherweight champion.
The rankings had minor movement with small changes in most divisions, while the pound-for-pound list got shaken up and saw a significant change.
Ultimately, the biggest movers where Amanda Nunes moving up six spots to number eight on the pound-for-pound rankings. While Alexander Volkanovksi moved up six spots to number four in the featherweight division after his win over Chad Mendes at UFC 232.
