Uriah Hall outlasts bloody Antonio Carlos Junior at UFC Vancouver
On Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, the UFC returned to Vancouver for UFC on ESPN+ 16.
The event takes place at Rogers Arena and will be headlined by a lightweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Justin Gaethje. Before the 155-pounders take center stage, two powerful middleweights square off as Antonio Carlos Junior takes on Uriah Hall.
Carlos Junior looks to get back to his winning ways after having his five fight win streak snapped by Ian Heinisch at UFC Rochester in May. “Cara de Sapato” holds submission wins over the likes of Eric Spicely, Jack Marshman, and Tim Boetsch as he enters the Octagon for the 12th time.
Hall will look to make it two straight wins following his third round knockout win over Bevon Lewis at UFC 232. The former TUF 17 finalist prepares to make the walk to the Octagon for the 15th time.
