UFC Veteran steps in as replacement against David Bielkheden
David Bielkheden gets new opponent. UFC veteran Luis Ramos steps in and replaces Daniel Acacio on short notice at Superior Challenge 14
The Stockholm fighter, David Bielkheden’s planned opponent Daniel Acacio has been forced to cancel due to personal reasons. This has created a unique opportunity for UFC veteran Luis Ramos to step in as a replacement on short notice.
The experienced Nova Uniao fighter is training partner with Superior Challenge’s middleweight champion Thales Leites, who has an ongoing successful career in the UFC. Luis has a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Andre Pederneiras from Nova Uniao, one of the world’s top MMA academies where he also trains daily with top names like Jose Aldo, Renan Barao, Junior Dos Santos, Pedro Rizzo etc. etc.
Ramos began his martial arts career as a kick boxer and after the switch to MMA, he has conquered titles in organizations such as North America Shooto Champion and World Shooto Champio.
Ramos did not have an easy going in the UFC, losing his two fights there via TKO, one to Erick Silva, and one to Matt Brown.
