Halloween turned into a night of pure combat theatre as KC57: Miami transformed Fright Night into Fight Night – complete with Halloween costumes, last-minute knockouts, and the unmistakable voice of John Danaher joining the commentary team.
In the main event, Ilyas Khamzin and Adrian Weathersby went toe-to-toe for five brutal rounds in a Middleweight Title war. Khamzin ultimately emerged victorious, claiming the belt after an exhausting display of grit and power.
The co-main event marked the long-awaited Karate Combat debut of Uriah Hall, who delivered a masterclass performance against fellow UFC veteran Markus Perez – proving that some things truly do get better with age. Hall seized the post-fight mic to call out Australian KC fighter Jayden Eynaud, reigniting a feud that has simmered for months and could soon be settled in the Pit.
Drama struck the featured bout as fan-favorite Rafael “The Human Highlight Reel” Alves suffered a devastating knee injury mid-fight, collapsing to the canvas in agony. Luis “Violent Bob Ross” Peña was awarded the victory by default, while Alves was taken to hospital for evaluation.
Elsewhere on the card, Andre Ewell pulled off one of the night’s most dramatic finishes – landing a knockout blow at 2:59 of the third round to stop title contender Weber Almeida just as the final bell sounded. Almeida was left out cold as the Miami crowd erupted.
In the women’s division, Lili Ferreira earned a memorable win over Jade Jorand in the fourth round – after briefly celebrating at the end of the third when a split decision was mistakenly announced in her favor. (Split decisions are not permitted under KC rules.) Regaining her composure, Ferreira stormed back to finish the job decisively.
Earlier in the evening, Damir Ismagulov scored a dominant TKO victory on his KC debut against Tyler “Zombie” Hill, Emiliano Sordi dropped Zac Pauga in the opening round, and Apollo Gomes set the tone for the night by stopping Hector Santiago with the very first kick of the event.
KC57 Miami delivered everything fans could ask for – heart, chaos, and unforgettable Halloween-night action.
