Usman Nurmagomedov remains undefeated – Bellator San Diego results

The Bellator Champions Series continued with an action-packed event live from Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. The evening’s card featured a star-studded night of fights and the Bellator Lightweight World Championship between Usman Nurmagomedov (18-0, 1 NC) and Alexander Shabliy (24-4).

Nurmagomedov dominated the Bellator San Diego contest and defended the Bellator Lightweight title via unanimous decision. In the co-main event of the evening, Lorenz Larkin (27-8, 2 NC) faced off against Levan Chokheli (13-3, 1 NC). Larkin swarmed Chokheli early in the first round, resulting in a TKO victory.

Douglas Lima (33-12) matched up with Aaron Jeffery (15-5) in a Middleweight bout. Jeffery defeated Lima via unanimous decision, inserting himself back into the win column.

In Women’s Flyweight action, Sumiko Inaba (8-1) took on Mackenzie Stiller. Inaba, who fights out of Maui, HI, displayed aggressive striking, securing the TKO victory in the second round.

A Lightweight competition between Yancy Medeiros (12-9, 2 NC) and Zhora Ayvazyan (15-1) kicked off the action for the main card. Utilizing his elite wrestling, Ayvazyan picked up the unanimous decision victory.

In addition, Jordan Newman (7-0) and Imamshafi Aliev (9-1) faced off in a Middleweight contest. After a back-and-forth bout, Newman defended his undefeated record via unanimous decision.

Japan’s Masayuki Kikuiri (10-2-1) impressively defeated Herman Terrado (15-7-1) via third-round TKO in a Welterweight affair.

Continued action featured a Bantamweight bout between Bryce Meredith (7-0) and Jon Macalolooy (4-2). Meredith, a 3-time NCAA D1 All-American wrestler, defeated Macalolooy via first-round technical submission.

Josh Hokit (2-0) clashed with Sean Rose (2-3, 1 NC) in a Heavyweight tilt. Hokit, a former NFL player and All-American wrestler, defeated Rose via first-round submission.

Aysia Cortez (0-1) and San Diego’s Ashley Thiner (1-0) faced off in a Women’s Strawweight bout. Thiner earned an impressive second-round TKO and secured the victory in her pro debut.
