VFC 57 Results: Gallemore vs. James, Mamalis vs. Gray
Tonight Victory Fighting Championship hosts VFC 57 from the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, Kansas. The Cinco de Mayo fight card be shown live on UFC FIGHT PASS.
Daniel “Big Kansas” Gallemore defended his VFC heavyweight crown in front of his home-town fans as he faced rival Daniel “The Predator” James.
Gallemore won the title in May of 2016 by defeating then champion Abe Wagner, and then defended the crown in December by defeating Derek Bohi. Tonight these two heavyweights came out swinging, Gallemore threw a kick or two, backed James up against the fence with some heavy shots and locked in a guillotine, the same that won him the title a year ago.
Gallemore then got on the mic and said he wanted in the UFC.

The co-main event featured a clash for the vacant VFC flyweight belt as former bantamweight champ Nick Mamalis aimed for a second title reign as he takes on Kevin “Pocket Herc” Gray. Unfortunately for Mamalis, Gray cinched in a guillotine and put him to sleep to claim the belt.
