Two title bouts set for Victory Fighting Championship VFC 56: Emerson vs. Stots
A pair of title fights were secured following the official weigh-in for Victory Fighting Championship’s VFC 56: Emerson vs. Stots.
The bouts will take place on Friday, April 14th at Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, and live on UFC FIGHT PASS®.
In the main event, two-division champion Rob “The Saint” Emerson puts his bantamweight belt on the line against undefeated top-rated prospect Raufeon “Supa” Stots. The co-main event will see newly crowned welterweight kingpin Kassius “Killa Kayne” Holdorf engage in his first title defense against Yuri Villefort.
Under the guidelines of the Nebraska Athletic Commission, all fights including title bouts are permitted a one-pound allowance.
Emerson, who is also VFC’s featherweight champion, weighed in at 135.6 lbs., while Stots confirmed in at 135.8 lbs.
Out to defend his belt in his home town of Omaha, Holdorf registered in at 170.8 lbs., with Villefort stepping off the scale at 170.0 lbs.
