Vitor Belfort returns to boxing on June 19th with Triller
Vitor Belfort returns to boxing competition and it transpires in a couple of weeks. Belfort will be taking on The Real Tarzann aka Mike Holston on June 19th in Miami, Florida at loanDepot park. This takes place on the undercard for the next Triller Fight Club event.
ESPN’s Ariel Helwani was the first to report specifics on this latest permutation of MMA fighters seeking boxing bouts.

Holston and Belfort got into a physical altercation recently. One that looked more work than shoot to use pro wrestling parlance. This went down inside the gym Belfort was training in at the time and the video from the incident began making the rounds on social media.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion was recently mapping out a fighting foray into the ONE Circle.
Belfort was signed with ONE Championship for over two years but never competed under the ONE banner. There were rumblings of him fighting Alain Ngalani but that bout never ultimately came to fruition.
Per ESPN, Belfort has since parted ways with ONE Championship as he now pursues this boxing bout.

The Real Tarzann is an animal ranger and social media personality. Holston has reportedly trained in MMA as well boxing but has no professional combative experience.
The animal conservationist has been in close quarters with poisonous creatures and gargantuan animals. He is now looking to show off his pronounced strength inside the ring with a different kind of beast.
This will mark The Phenom‘s sophomore effort competing in the sweet science. Belfort knocked out Josemario Neves in the first round of their April 2006 heavyweight contest.
In a recent press release, a Triller representative had this to say regarding the bout:
“Vitor is one of the all-time greatest fighters in the world, and whatever happened between him and The Real Tarzann in the gym, their dispute belongs in the Triller Fight Club ring with gloves on. We look forward to seeing who prevails,” said Ryan Kavanaugh, co-owner of Triller Fight Club parent company TrillerNet.
This upcoming Triller Fight Club event is headlined by Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr for the undisputed lightweight championship of the world.
