WWE wrestlers Montez Ford and Bianca Belair talk potential move to MMA
WWE stars Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were in Anaheim, California on Saturday night where they attended the UFC 298 pay-per-view event at the Honda Center.
The married couple spoke to Caroline Pearce of TNT Sports about a potential move to mixed martial arts.
“100 percent I will say, I’ve always been a fan of it, always been training for it, Ford said (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News). “It is something I was talking about in the last two years about actually going over and having a match, seeing CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, doing different promotions. Something I had interest in but it got shut down quickly by um, (coughs).”
WWE meets UFC 🤝
Is there an octagon appearance on the cards of either of these two superstars? @BiancaBelairWWE says no, but @MontezFordWWE didn’t rule it out… 😏

While Ford may be eager to do the crossover, Belair wasn’t so sure.
“I see myself training for it,” she said (h/t Ella Jay of Wrestling Inc.). “I have a lot of respect for what they do, just like I think they have a lot of respect for what we do, which is amazing that we’re here tonight and then we have ‘Raw’ here on Monday. I would love to train and get the skills that they have. I’ve been in the ring with some women that have some of this background, like Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, and they are tough.”
