Yushin Okami and Aung La N Sang talk potential ONE bout
Yushin Okami and Aung La N Sang are engaging in a bit of social media discourse about a potential ONE Championship bout.
The two middleweights interacted with a level of competitive-minded respect for one another via Twitter.
@_Yushin_Okami_ it would be an honor to share the @ONEChampionship circle with you. 🙏🏽

Aung La N Sang is contemplating a September return to ONE Championship, per a recent chat with me, to ideally take part in a ONE 10 year anniversary card.
Also, Okami is seemingly chomping at the bit to return to competing in the ONE Circle. To fight for the first time in twenty-two months.
Yushin Okami and Aung La N Sang
Yushin Okami is a veteran with over fifty MMA fights on his resume. In his last bout, Thunder snapped a three-fight losing skid through UFC and ONE Championship efforts.
Okami got back into the win column by besting Agilan Thani via split decision in October 2019. This transpired under the ONE Championship banner and put him at 1-2 overall in the promotion.
The former UFC middleweight title contender had previous throwdowns against elite warriors in ONE Championship. Stiff tests against the now-reigning ONE welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov and former ONE welterweight title contender James Nakashima.
Okami holds significant career victories over Anderson Silva, Alan Belcher, Mike Swick, Evan Tanner, Nate Marquardt, and Hector Lombard to name a few.
Aung La N Sang has taken part in 40 mixed martial arts bouts overall. He also recently snapped a losing skid of his own.
N Sang was formerly a two-division titleholder in ONE Championship. But dropped both belts in consecutive contests against Reinier de Ridder.
The pride of Myanmar recently secured a victory at ONE: Battleground over former ONE middleweight title contender Leandro Ataides. The Burmese Python stopped the contest with devastating punches in the opening frame of the July 30th fight.
N Sang has secured meaningful wins over Vitaly Bigdash, Ken Hasegawa, Brandon Vera, and Alexey Butorin to name a few.
