Jon Jones – “I have severe arthritis”
Former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has revealed a medical prognosis that most were not expecting to hear. The future UFC Hall of Famer has been diagnosed with arthritis, a common, chronic condition characterized by inflammation, pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion in one or more joints.
“I have severe arthritis and most people don’t know that,” Jones said in a video posted to social media. “My left hip is covered in arthritis. I actually already qualify for a hip replacement. My last training camp, I went to bed in so much pain.”
Jon Jones says he doesn’t want to wrestle Daniel Cormier in RAF because he has ‘severe arthritis’
“I have severe arthritis, and most people don’t know that. My left hip is covered in arthritis… My last training camp, dude I went to bed in so much pain.

The revelation comes after Jones and rival former two-division champion Daniel Cormier were rumored to compete against one another at Real-American Freestyle Wrestling.
“I have a three-year-old baby boy,” Jones said. “I want to use what I’ve got left in my hips to play with his ass.”
Jones and Cormier recently coached opposite one another on a Russian reality show called ALF Reality.
