ACC 17: Lindsey VanZandt Interview – Pro Atomweight

At Aggressive Combat Championships 17, My MMA News reporter, Kyle Carroll caught up with Professional mixed martial artist athlete, Lindsey VanZandt. VanZandt scored two second-round TKO’s in her first two professional bouts. Her first victory came via TKO verse Katie Saull at King of the Cage: Regulator. The former ACC title contender went 3-3 as an amateur. Her second victory came against Rachel Sazoff at Maverick MMA 3.

In VanZandt’s last bout, she won via split decision verse Bi Nguyen at KOTC: Locked In on October 28, 2017.

VanZandt, 24, is currently ranked No. 1 pound-for-pound in Florida. In Pennsylvania in No. 1-ranked female fighter in their P4P. She is also the No. 3-ranked P4P female in the US Southeast, and No. 4-ranked P4P female in the US Northeast, according to Tapology.com.

Kyle Carroll

Kyle Carroll is a Long Island, N.Y. native and avid MMA and amateur wrestling fan. He has been a part of the wrestling community for nearly 20 years. Carroll has six years of experience coaching high school wrestling. His father coached high school wrestling over 35 years, passing on his strong knowledge.
