Yanez landed a scary-like head kick to earn a first-round TKO victory against Rodriguez on Halloween night inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bantamweight Victor Rodriguez (7-2) makes his UFC debut against fellow newcomer Adrian Yanez (11-3) in the prelims. Rodriguez won all seven of his pro fights by stoppages due to strikes and has been victorious in his last four appearances. Yanez earned his UFC deal with a spectacular knockout on Dana White’s Contender Series. On paper, this looks like a stand-up brawl. Yanez has a boxing pedigree and will have absolutely no problem with that at all.
