After UFC 255 wins, Deiveson Figueiredo to defend against Brandon Moreno at UFC 256

After quick wins at UFC 255 on Saturday in Las Vegas, UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno will make quick turnaround and compete against one another at UFC 256 on December 12.

Figueiredo successfully defended his championship belt against Alex Perez  with a quick submission in the first round of the main event at the UFC Apex.

Moreno also finished Brandon Royval in the first round of their fight which would set up this new title fight which will go down in less than one month’s time.

“We’re going to keep (Figueiredo) here,” White said at the post-fight news conference. “He’s not going back to Brazil. We’re going to turn him right around (in) December. That’s what we’re working on.”
