Aleksandar Rakic signs new 6-fight deal with UFC, third contract with promotion

Aleksandar Rakic has signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC according to a post on social media.

Rakic’s Instagram post read: “Pleased to announce that I signed a new long term contract with 6 fights in the @ufc . This is the 3rd contract with the company in 2 years. Rocket Time.”

Rakic (12-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) was undefeated with the promotion before dropping a split decision to Volkan Oezdemir at UFC Busan in December 2019. Prior to the loss Rakic earned wins over Jimi Manuwa, Devin Clark, Justin Ledet, and Francimar Barroso.

The 28-year-old mixed martial artist from Austria currently does not have a fight booked.
