Alistair “The Ambition” Patterson focused on composure at CFS 3

Alistair “The Ambition” Patterson is a 155lb mixed martial artist out of Diego Bispo Academy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Patterson currently sits at 4-4 as an amateur and is scheduled to compete at Cowboy Fight Series 3 against Joshua Francis (sporting a 5-2 record) in the semi final brackets of the 155lb tournament. A lot of eyes are fixated on this weight classes tournament with stipulations being so high for a potential pro contract.

Although, a student of Diego Bispo Academy, Patterson recently made the trip to Roufus Sport to get some new eyes, and additional training from some of the the worlds elite in preparation to seize this tournaments opportunity.

“I’m going to be composed and whatever openings he gives me, I’m going to take!” – Patterson boldly says about facing Joshua Francis in the tournament semi finals. Continuing with, “Breaking him down. I’m going to be going hard…as hard as I can for 9 minutes and be composed while I’m at it.”

When asked about how he foresees this bout going, Patterson confidently responds, “By any means possible. Whether it’s a knockout, submission, TKO or even a decision…I’m going to go in there and fight my hardest and whoever breaks, breaks, and it won’t be me!”

If all goes to plan and he gets his hand raised this Saturday evening, live from the MIchael and Son Sportsplex in Sterling, Virginia, he’ll be slotted to face the winner of Zak Krapf and Rob Shermer for the tournament championship.
