Benson Henderson faces Peter Queally on Friday at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. An early fight card for fight fans in the United States that should be fun to watch as the number three Bellator MMA ranked Henderson looks to hold back the number seven ranked Queally. Queally believes a win should get him another shot at Patricky “Pitbull” Freire again or at least close enough.
This is Henderson’s last fight on his four-fight contract with Bellator MMA. Hoping to leave with a win, Henderson looks to step back to support his wife’s fighting but that doesn’t mean he’s going to lie down for Queally. During the Bellator 285 media day, Henderson said; “He’s going to go in there and try to beat me up, and I’m going to try to beat him up. I’m gonna do what I’m gonna do.”
Also fighting the last fight on his contract with Bellator, the number nine ranked Melvin Manhoef faces the number seven ranked Yoel Romero in the co-main event. This fight will likely not see all three rounds as the two powerhouse fighters will likely create a wreck in the cage.
