Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz, Hector Lombard issued temporary suspensions by NSAC
At its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Committee issued temporary suspensions for UFC fighters Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz, and Hector Lombard in response to individual failed drug tests by all three fighters. The temporary suspensions are pending a future disciplinary hearing, which is expected to take place in March.
Meanwhile, UFC women’s bantamweight, Ashlee Evans-Smith was issued a nine-month suspension and fined 30 percent of her purse ($2,400) for her failed UFC 181 drug test. The NSAC states that Evans-Smith used a diurectic which helps promote the production of urine.
Still no word on Jon Jones positive cocaine test…….but at least they are suspending fighters who are trying to pee.Follow MyMMANews.com on Social Media
