In the new main event announced today, Eduardo “El Pube” Alvarado Osuna (8-5) will square off with fellow rising star Andre Barquero (6-2) at a catchweight of 140 pounds.

The 24-year-old Barquero of San Pedro, Costa Rica will replace John “Sexi Mexi” Castaneda (17-4) of Mankato, Minn. after Castaneda withdrew from the commitment, citing an elbow infection as the cause.

Osuna, a 27-year-old speedster and stellar striker who hails from Tijuana, B.C., Mexico, will look to collect his third consecutive victory in what has been a stellar year for his career, thus far.
