Andre Fili vs. Joanderson Brito added to April 30th Fight Night

Another featherweight bout has been added to UFC’s April 30th Fight Night. 

Andre Fili announced on Instagram on Sunday that he will be “winning the fistfight on April 30th in Las Vegas,” in his matchup against Joanderson Brito. 

Brito also made the fight announcement on his Instagram stating “Hey guys! We’re once again in the game. We’re going up with everything.” 

31-year-old “Touchy” Fili (21-8-0, 1 NC) has fought under the UFC banner since 2013 and has collected a UFC record of 9-7-0, 1 NC. Throughout his career, he has obtained victories over the likes of Artem Lobov, Dennis Bermudez, and Charles Jourdain. His most recent walk to the octagon ended in a no-contest against Daniel Pineda due to an accidental eye poke. 

In Fili’s first fight of 2022, he will be met with Brazilian-born Joanderson Brito. 

27-year-old Brito (12-3-1) made his way to the UFC after defeating Diego Lopes on the 2021 season of Dana White’s Contender Series. In his first UFC bout, he lost a unanimous decision to Bill Algeo. Now booked in his second UFC bout, Brito will be looking to secure his first win with the promotion. 

The featherweight showdown will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. As of now, the card has a total of 13 bouts and is to be headlined by Rob Font vs. Marlon Vera
