Andrea Lee breaks down her UFC 262 win over Antonina Shevchenko

Andrea Lee wanted to have fun inside of the octagon at UFC 262.

In the lead up to her fight with Antonina Shevchenko, Lee discussed with MyMMANews how much pressure she put on herself during her three-fight losing streak.

While on those losses were close fights, two of which were a split decision, Lee knew she wasn’t herself in those fights and she wanted to get back to roots of enjoying the fight experience. At UFC 262, she did just that.

Lee (12-5) was smiling all fight week, including her walk to the octagon. Once the fight began, she was dialed in and ended up picking up a second-round submission win.

Following the victory, Lee followed up with MyMMANews and talked about the fight. Lee discussed how much she enjoyed herself, how great she felt in the fight, and the submission.

Aside from the fight, Lee discussed what’s next for her as see hopes to be active in the remainder of 2021. She also talked about motherhood and how to balance being a full-time fighter while being a mom.
