This Saturday, October 16th, Stellar Fights will make history, invading Salisbury Maryland for the promotions first ever, all-professional fight card. The co-main event of the evening will see Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz takes on Kevin Chung in a featherweight matchup. Stellar Fights 47 will bring some of the nation’s top fighters to the east coast as a plethora of talent will throw down under one roof of the Civic Center.
The main event of the evening With so many notable names on the bill such as Ryan Cafaro, Matt Hicks, Luke Staley, and Matt Skibicki, Stellar Fights 47 is trending to be the promotions biggest event to date.
Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz will be making his return to the cage after a lengthy layoff, stemming from an injury sustained during a fight in 2019. When the global pandemic struck, that made matters worse due to limited promotions to compete under. “Now that it’s 2021, I’m ready to show people what I’ve got,” says a confident Cruz.
Although Cruz is understanding that anything can happen in a fight and has nothing but respect for his upcoming opponent, Kevin Chung, Cruz feels his pressure will be the deciding factor in this Stellar Fights 47 co-main event.
“It’s going to be non-stop pressure,” Cruz insists. “I’m going to be non-stop going,” he emphasizes. “If I have to call it, I would guess second-round armbar,” he predicts. “That’s just what I’m guessing,” Cruz says with a humble chuckle.
Cruz vs Chung is set to be a barnburner of a co-main event at Stellar Fights 47 as Cruz predicts the second-round finish.
