Andrew Sanchez ‘feeling dangerous’ ahead of Aug. 8 fight against Wellington Turman

Andrew Sanchez (11-5) discusses his middleweight fight against Wellington Turman (16-3) at UFC Fight Night on Aug. 8. Andrew also talks about being on lockdown in Montreal with COVID-19, what type of training camp he’s had and why he’s the dark horse of the middleweight division. Sanchez believes this is the fight that will lead to his first stoppage victory in the octagon.

“I’m feeling dangerous man. I really do. He’s tough, he’s game. I’m going to be tested and so is he. But I’d like to say this is the one I’m going to get that finish. That finish I’ve been looking for in the UFC. A lot decisions, near finishes. I’ve hurt guys but f–k I want a finish. But it’s also one of those things you can’t go for it too hard. If you try to grab it too much you’re never going to find it. But expect a new, dangerous, more complete Andrew Sanchez for sure. My last fight, I’ve got a lot to prove from that. Because I’m not too proud of that one too be honest. Sometimes you got to take a loss to really catapult forward.”
