“Barbie’s” got a CHIN – Watch Ekaterina Vandaryeva absorb kick to face
Ekaterina Vandaryeva, 33, a Belarusian kickboxer known as “Barbie”, defeated Martyna Kierczyńska by way of unanimous decision at their ONE Fight Night 20 bout in Bangkok, Thailand on March 9.
ONE Championship officials celebrated International Women’s Day 2024 with the epic all-female fight card at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
ONE Fight Night 20: Todd vs. Phetjeeja on Prime Video took place in U.S. primetime on March 8 and featured 18 elite martial artists representing 13 countries – a true showcase of women warriors from around the globe.

“There was a lot of hype around Martyna before the fight, but at the same time, we can’t forget that this is martial arts, ” Vandaryeva said after the fight. “The hype doesn’t really matter.
“The fight matters because fights can go in a random direction. They can go in any direction, and sometimes when you have a fighter that’s not the strongest but has an awkward style, it can be hard to fight against.”
Vandaryeva who has been competing since 2011 defeated future UFC champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk in a controversial judges’ decision that year to become the WKN champion. It was her first official win.
