Youssef Zalal (13-5-1) discusses his featherweight fight against Billy Quarantillo (18-5) at UFC Vegas 89 on March 23. Youssef also spoke about not getting selected for The Ultimate Fighter 32, former opponent Ilia Topuria winning the UFC featherweight title and the difference this time around in being in the UFC.
“The difference is the maturity and confidence. You guys will see what I’m talking about. I can fight a lot of different styles, sometimes the styles need to fight I don’t need to do it. I don’t think people have seen much of my striking background in the UFC. You get to see the aggressive Yousef and kickboxing style. I’m very excited to bring that back and really show that 2.0.”
