Becca Evans Speaks About Her Pro-Debut Submission At Triton Fights 18

Becca Evans joined Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast to speak about her victory at Triton Fights 18. Evans earned a submission victory over a highly-touted prospect out of LAW MMA, Dianna Karava. Evans out grappled her opponent and eventually scored a Rear-Naked Choke submission to earn her professional debut win.

Evans spoke about how traveling during Covid-19 worked, in addition to why they didn’t fly. She spoke about her success inside the cage at Triton Fights, in addition to how the promotion treated the fighters leading up to the bout.

Triton Fights held their inaugural pro/ amateur fight card down in Tampa Bay, Florida. After heading down to Florida because New York remained closed, Triton Fights 18 received a great amount of praise and attention as the professional card ran alongside the UFC 260 Miocic vs. Nagannou Pay-Per-View card. The traffic for Triton Fights 18 – Florida vs. New York on MyMMANews.com website surpassed the largest mixed martial arts organization in the world.

The featherweight fighter spoke about her weight and which weight class she plans to continue to fight at. After being asked what’s next for her, she informed us of a grappling match on May 23, against Kristin Walsh of Serra BJJ. This Blue Belt Match-up will take place at Vault BJJ in Morton, PA. It’s a charity event to fundraise to help prevent domestic violence.

SUB-OUT Domestic Violence will stream live at 11 AM on The vault BJJ Facebook Page.

Find out what Becca Evans was craving after her fight. Plus, Evans informed Kyle Carroll about a very important detail regarding Girl Scout Cookies.
