In the Bellator 211 main event, Italy’s own Alessio Sakara (19-12 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) met Kent Kauppinen (10-4 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) in a light heavyweight bout. Much to the surprise of everyone in attendance, the hometown hero would be knocked out just 70 seconds into the fight.

Bellator 211 took place Saturday at RDS Stadium in Genoa. The main card aired live on Paramount at 4 p.m. ET and will stream on DAZN. In addition, the Bellator Kickboxing 11 event streamed on Bellator’s mobile app at noon ET.
