Bellator 256 Winner Jornel Lugo Taking Patient Approach To MMA Career

Interview with Jornel Lugo above – Check it out

Jornel Lugo (6-0) recaps his unanimous decision victory over Cass Bell (5-2) at Bellator 256 on April 10.  Jornel also talks about fighting on Showtime for the first time, how fasting has helped him make bantamweight and why he’s not in a rush to get back into the cage.

“I’m not one of those guys who likes to fight 10 times a year. Me, I’m good with three to four. Three is good, every four months. Two months rest, training, fight and get better in between. I’m not the kind of guy who wants to fight back to back. And when my fight, you don’t see a difference. If you check out my fights you’ll see a difference in every fight. Look at the John Douma fight and look at me now. There’s a difference every single time I step into the cage. I don’t want to be a Kevin Holland who fights every other day and there’s no progression.”
