Best Knockouts From Fighters Competing At UFC Vegas 55

Everyone loves a finish in MMA. Okay, let’s be honest; everyone loves a good knockout.

UFC Vegas 55 goes down this weekend, and some of the fighters have had some good knockouts or TKO on their resumes.

Here are some of the best knockouts.

Holly Holm vs. Ronda Rousey

The kick that was heard around the world…The kick that started Ronda Rousey’s downfall…The kick that won Holy Holm the UFC bantamweight championship. Okay, you get it.

On November 15, 2015, at UFC 193, Holm landed a left high kick that ended Rousey’s historic reign.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Neil Magny

In Santiago Ponzinibbio’s second UFC main event, he became the first man in the UFC to knockout Neil Magny. What made the knockout even more special was the fact that they were in Ponzinibbio’s home country of Argentina. What made the knockout kind of sad in hindsight was that Ponzinibbio would deal with nasty injuries that would leave him sidelined for years.

Michel Pereira vs. Danny Roberts

It was an awesome UFC debut for the wildman Michel Pereira at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Lee in 2019. The Brazilian was putting on a show for the New York crowd by jumping off the fence, Anthony Pettis style, and doing rolling thunders. In just under two minutes, he would catch Danny Roberts with a flying knee followed by a punch that put his lights out.

Chidi Njokuani vs. Marc-André Barriault

From one UFC debut to another. Chidi Njokuani made his highly anticipated debut earlier this year in February, and it was a quick one. Marc-André Barriault got starched in 16 seconds. It was an epic UFC debut for Njokuani, who had been grinding on the regional scene and other promotions for years. You love to see it.

Eryk Anders vs. Tim Williams

After suffering his first UFC loss, Anders rebounded with a glorious head kick knockout. Going into the third round with Tim Williams, the fight was most likely tied, and with 20 seconds left in the fight, as Williams was getting to his feet after he tripped, Anders got him with a head kick.

Uros Medic vs Aalon Cruz

Uros Medic also had an excellent finish in his UFC debut. At UFC 259, Medic and Cruz fought in the second fight of the card, and in less than two minutes, the fight was over. Medic hit Cruz with a flying knee and then followed it up with a bunch of ground and pound until the referee pulled him off.

Vince Morales vs. Louis Smolka

Vince Morales picked up his first UFC finish in his last outing. At UFC on ESPN: Font vs. Aldo, Morales knocked out Louis Smolka in two minutes after eating a couple of knees in the clinch. The win showed the knockout power that Morales has had in his career.

Jonathan Martinez vs. Liu Pingyuan

In Jonathan Martinez’s third fight in the promotion, he landed a nasty step-in knee knockout. At UFC Fight Night: de Randamie vs. Ladd, Martinez faced Liu Pingyuan. The fight was most likely 1-1 going into the third round, and with just about a minute left in the fight, Martinez slept the Chinese fighter.
