Bi Nguyen released from ONE Championship roster
Vietnamese-American atomweight fighter Bi Nguyen (6-8) has been released from the ONE Championship roster according to a report from the South China Morning Post.
Nguyen, 32, is coming off back-to-back losses with the Singapore-based promotion, most recently a unanimous decision defeat in a fight against Heqin Lin in February.
“I don’t know how much more of this I can do guys,” Nguyen said backstage after the loss at ONE: Bad Blood.
Since coming to the ONE Championship promotion in 2019, all of Nguyen’s losses have been by way of decision. While there she fought both MMA and Muay Thai.
‘Killer Bee’ went 2-5 in MMA competition in ONE, her most famous victory coming in a shock decision against ‘The Indian Tigress’ Ritu Phogat.
She trains out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas and Heritage Muay Thai in Texas, and is a former reality television star on the hit US show Survivor.
