BKFC Norfolk: Reggie Barnett Jr and Britain Hart Title Fights
Reggie Barnett Jr and Britain Hart are the pair of Virginia natives set to to headline BKFC Norfolk. These two will be in a pair of title fights at bantamweight and strawweight, respectively.
David Feldman is the figurehead of BKFC and he recently revealed that Reggie Barnett Jr would close the show. Also, he said Britain Hart Beltran will defend her belt in the co-main against a familiar foe.
Feldman broke the news to me in a recent conversation regarding first quarter of 2023 happenings in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Feldman said that BKFC Norfolk would be headlined by Reggie Barnett Jr defending his bantamweight title in the main event vs TBA. Also, Britain Hart is trending towards defending her strawweight crown in a rematch with Jenny Savage at that event.

The excerpt below in quotes is what Feldman had to say regarding the late March foray into a newer market for the company.

Feldman’s breaking news regarding BKFC Norfolk
“Reggie Barnett will be the main event defending his 135-pound championship. We have a couple of promising opponents right now. We’re trying to work that out actually today. Britain Hart will be fighting again. It looks like she’s probably going to be fighting a rematch against someone she’s having a lot of animosity towards right now in the 125-pound/115-pound division, Jenny Savage. So I think she’s going to have a rematch with her and I think that’s going to have a lot of fireworks all over it. Just these cards that we’re doing in these towns that are big but little.”
“They’re little big towns I call them. Because they’re smaller, they’re not the Miami population. They’re not the Tampa population but they’re big enough to be able to put on events like this and small enough to be able to get everybody talking about them. That’s what happened this past weekend in Myrtle Beach. That’s what we expect to happen in Norfolk as well. We’re going to have a lot of military involved with that. That one will be set up for six thousand. So if we can sell that out, that’s a great feat for us there as well.”
Reggie Barnett Jr and Britain Hart
Barnett Jr is the promotion’s champion at 135 pounds. He is riding back-to-back victories heading into this matchup. Barnett Jr will be the partisan favorite here as he looks to embark on the successful first defense of his hardware.
Hart Beltran is in the same situation as Barnett Jr in as far as being on a two-fight winning streak. Also, she too is looking to notch the first defense of the crown. The 115-pound titleholder looks to start off the calendar year strong and kick off a good run in her career.
Feldman appeared on Bowks Talking Bouts once again to break news on several topics. He discussed BKFC’s expansion into Canada as well as the Philippines, how Gorjan Slaveski could fight one of three individuals for welterweight gold next, and so much more.
