Bo Nickal to make professional MMA debut in June

Bo Nickal is set to make his highly anticipated professional mixed martial arts debut this June.

At just 26 years of age, Nickal has already accomplished great heights in the world of combat sports. As an accomplished wrestler at Penn State, Nickal is a three-time Big Ten conference champion, a three-time Division-I national champion, and an under-23 world champion.

Primarily wrestling at 202 lbs, Nickal is also a two-time Schalles Award winner, holds a Dan Hodge Trophy, and was awarded the Big Ten Athlete of the Year award in 2019. In all, his collegiate record totaled an extremely impressive 120-3.

Since making the transition to MMA, Nickal has competed in two amateur bouts in which he defeated David Conley via submission and Billy Goode via KO.

Now set to make his first professional walk, he will be matched with John Conner at the 3rd Jorge Masvidal’s iKON FC event which takes place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Conner, a.k.a. John Noland, will also be making his professional debut. As an amateur, he has gone 6-3-0 and is currently riding a two-fight losing skid. Fighting out of Alabama, Conner will look to put a halt to the rise of Nickal come June.

iKON FC 3 is set for June 3rd, 2022. It will be available to stream on UFC Fight Pass and will begin at 7:00 P.M. EST.
