Green and Miller are both unranked fighters, but anyone who watches MMA knows that they are two of the most well-respected veterans of the sport. Green, who is now 35 years old, has been in the UFC since it purchased Strikeforce back in 2013. Since then, Green has become a staple of the UFC lightweight division over the last nine years. He has been a fan favorite over that stretch as he is always involved in exciting fights and puts on great shows for those watching. In his last outing, Green stepped up on short notice and lost via TKO to Islam Makhachev, which snapped a two-fight winning streak.
As for Miller, he has been in the UFC since 2008 and he has been one of the most active fighters in the lightweight division for that time period. Miller is 38 years old now, but he is still fighting at a high level as he’s won his last two fights in a row. It’s worth noting that Green vs. Miller was set to take place back in 2014 in the UFC, but the fight never materialized. All these years later and we’ll finally see it.
