Drew Dober calls out Bobby Green after thrilling TKO win over Terrance McKinney at UFC Vegas 50

UFC lightweight veteran Drew Dober called out Bobby Green after his thrilling TKO win over Terrance McKinney at UFC Vegas 50.

Dober knocked out McKinney after getting dropped early and nearly finished himself in the first round of their lightweight contest on the UFC Vegas 50 main card. After losing two straight fights to Islam Makhachev and Brad Riddell, Dober knew it was a must-win fight. He had to weather the early storm to get the finish, but in the end, it was Dober who got his hand raised, and it’s a huge win for his career.

Following the win over McKinney, Dober was asked who he wants to fight next, and he suggested a fellow veteran in Green, who is always known for his exciting fights. Dober believes that going up against Green would be a fantastic fight, and he hopes the UFC considers making this matchup.

“I love crowd-favorite fights. I love having fantastic fights. There is a guy out there, Bobby Green. I’m interested. Let me know when you’re available, we can do this,” Dober said following the fight.

Speaking to the media following the event, Dober once again made his push for the Green fight. Not only does Dober want this fight, but he wants it to be in front of a crowd, and on the main card, too.

“That fight has to be in front of a crowd. It has to be, right? But yeah, so let’s find a place where we can just pack the arena. I would love to be part of the main card, co-main, you know. With Bobby and I, like we’re both such fun fighters taking risks. And we can make that fight exciting. And I feel like there’ll be very little wrestling in that fight,” Dober said (h/t Cageside Press).
