It was arguably the biggest boxing event in the modern era as undefeated WBC and WBA Super Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., took on WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao in a bout that had been years in the making.
The highly anticipated bout took place in the capital of the fight world at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the first meeting of Ali vs Frazier will likely be the most meaningful and famous match of all Mayweather-Pacquiao is projected to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars while also paying out a purse of several hundred millions dollars to the athletes, both amounts that will dwarf those of the mega fights of the past.
The main event Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao was scheduled for 12 rounds.

Judge Dave Moretti scored the fight 118-110, and judges Glenn Feldman and Burt Clements both had it 116-112. Mayweather remains undefeated at 48-0.
