In just a matter of days, the highly anticipated matchup between Brandon “The Mechanic” Cuttino and Zak Kelly is set to make a statement as the main event of Gut Check Championship Series on September 30.

Months in the making, the pair were originally scheduled to compete earlier in 2023. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the bout was canceled, thus, the pair had to reschedule their dance to a later date.

“Usually in my weight class, guys are usually smaller than me. He’s someone who’s the same height as me.  So, I’m kind of eager for that challenge,” Cuttino says about the upcoming challenge.  “I do see a clear path to victory,” he affirms. “As an amateur, I thought I could beat him. As a pro, I think I can beat him.”

Confident in his capabilities, Cuttino states, “If you’re in New York, you’re in New Jersey, you’re in Pennsylvania, you’re in Delaware, you’re in Connecticut, you’re in Maryland, there’s nobody that is a better striker/kickboxer in the US than this guy right here and I believe that! That’s why I just have this feeling for this fight.
