Brave 18 weigh-in results, several competitors miss the mark, fights go on

Official Results: Brave 18 Weigh-ins

Brave Combat Federation conducted the official weigh-ins ahead of Brave 18 at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Bahrain on November 15. Joe Taimanglo and Velimurad Alkhasov missed the weight, while Djamil Chan and Lucas Santiago will face in a mutually agreed catchweight bout. Alkhasov will still compete in the title fight under the stipulation that only Marcel Adur will be able to win the world championship in case of a victory. The public weigh-ins were attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Lucas Mineiro from Brazil will defend the lightweight championship for the first time against Against Abdul Kareem Al Selwady from Palestine. Also defending the bantamweight world championship will be Stephen Loman from Philippines who will face Felipe Efrain. American Mixed Martial Artist, Sean O’Malley who competes in the Bantamweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship and has a perfect ten win streak in his professional career attended the public weigh-ins.

Jose “Shorty” Torres will be the guest commentator for the flyweight fight between Velimurad Alkhasov and Marcel Adur. The fight night will take place at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town on November 16.
