Brave 21 confirmed for December 28 in Saudi Arabia, at King Abdullah Sports City

Promotions throwing big events scheduled around New Year’s Eve are a long-time tradition in the MMA world and that looks to be no different this year. The culmination of 2018 will see the first installment of Brave Combat Federation in that space. Brave officials have confirmed that December 28, the last Friday of the year, will be the date of Brave 21, the promotion’s inaugural card in Saudi Arabia.

That’s big news not only for Brave CF but for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia too since that’s the first time a major international MMA promotion goes to the country. Recently, Saudi has become a trending destination for international sports and entertainment events, among which now will be Bahrain’s premier Mixed Martial Arts organization.

The venue selected for the event is the sumptuous King Abdullah Sports City Hall, in the city of Jeddah, the second-largest in the country, and the biggest urban population in the coast of the Red Sea. The modern arena was the stage for other important combat sports events, such as the World Boxing Super Series: Cruiserweight in 2017-2018.

Brave president Mohammed Shahid celebrated the edition and advised the fans to expect one of the biggest cards until this date.

“Going to Saudi Arabia was in the back of our minds for a long time and there’s no time better to do it than now. It’s the best of both worlds. Brave is a global promotion but also the finest sports media property out of the Middle East. which just adds more to the mix. The fans can expect our biggest stars present in this card so we wrap up 2018 on a high note”, he guaranteed.

Brave 21 will set a record for Brave Combat Federation and the MMA industry as a whole. The event will be the 12th of the year for Brave CF, before the promotion turns 3-years old, and will take place in the 12th different country. The world tour over the last months included stops in Jordan, Brazil, Indonesia, Northern Ireland, Morocco, Colombia, UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, and the upcoming cards in South Africa and India.
